Far out on the eastern plains, in the middle of seemingly nowhere, this grave and tombstone are carefully kept. Cattle graze around this site, but a walkway is mowed to it and it has a protective barrier around it. I've heard there used to be a lot of pine trees out there. So, he must have been a good woodman indeed.
Okay. I'm honing my video skills with this enchanting movie clip of my chickens who look like they are dying, but in reality are just taking a chicken dust bath. LOL I couldn't get closer because they got up and left. Anyone have any tips on clipping off sides of each movie picture? I'd love to make this a closer up version. Can that only be done at the time of filming? I know this is terrible. I apologize for wasting 90 seconds of your life. :)
So, I'm taking pictures of the flocks of ravens or crows, I don't know what they are . . . big black birds congregating by the hundreds here, when I notice a coyote. I got a few pics of him from far away, so they are a bit blurry. I also caught a picture of our spring that is full after all our rain and has some pretty flowers. I did catch a video and hopefully, recorded the frog songs eminating from the spring that I can upload later. It's so weird how out here on the high desert plains of Colorado, frogs come out and are really loud after rains.
Here's what it looks like here today! After record breaking days of near 100 throughout July, God sure changed things up. We had a record breaking low temp today for the Highest temp of the day. That was hard to say. The horses were galloping around our house.
I've gotten a bit more work done on the bay roan mustang wooliture of my mustang "Rocket". He still needs a mane, many, many more roan speckles, front leg work, rear leg work and a tail. And then he'll be all done! I'm really enjoying seeing him come together. Though it kills me how slow it is! That is the tortuous pain of a needlefelt artist.
Wow. Is God the best artist, or what?
