These shops are so beautiful they make me cry!!

I was cruising around http://etsy.com/ checking out interesting homemade wares, when I found a shop where I could just buy every single handcrafted jewelry piece. http://tztudio.etsy.com/ Not only did I find this gem of a shop, but the artisan who handcrafts these items, also has another shop full of rich, luxurious items! The tiny pictures in these minis, don't really even do justice to these gorgeous shops. Please click on the thumbnails and take a look for yourself. http://brokenchinacharms.etsy.com/
Every single gorgeous handcrafted piece of unique jewelry in both these stores are exquisite!

I've added a bit more detail to the face and front legs in this needlefelt sculpture. I stuck the needles in the hind legs to act as braces so I can see what this mustang will stand like. I have to keep checking for the balance until I firm up the hind legs.

Check out this Chimp Sanctuary!!!!

Check out this Chimp Sanctuary. They also provide sanctuary to many other animals. http://www.faunafoundation.org/ KraftyMomma (from KraftyMomma.etsy.com and TheNatureNut.etsy.com) just told me how she has been volunteering there and it sounds so wonderful! You can adopt a chimp, too. She was telling me Spock is quite the sweetheart. As soon as I can afford to, I'd like to adopt a chimp and help out this wonderful sanctuary.

I'm working on this *unbreakable* needlefelt sculpture. A few years ago I made a clay version of my beautiful bay roan mustang, Rocket. Then I let it dry before I was finished and ruined it. The beauty of needle felt is that I can't break it or dry it too much or ruin it!

New views of White Tiger Wooliture

This was the most amazingly fast wooliture I have ever made. Which is odd because the striping is all invidually applied and usually takes quite a while. I went on a crazy creative binge and worked day and night for a few days, ignoring almost everything else. I like the way this custom order turned out and his new owner is pleased. I really enjoy that!

I took a dirt road adventure today. I tried to make it to the post office and missed it by 5 minutes. But, then went on to the feed store and store. On my way back, there were tons of animals to take pictures of.
This lone antelope just stood in the road staring at me. I had come to a full stop and was able to grab this picture of him. He finally decided which way he was going and took off fast.

New work

I finished a white tiger wooliture today. He came together really fast for me.

And I found a new website called "Ask Sky Guy" where an astronomer will answer any questions you have. He already answered my question! http://www.skyguy.com/ if you want to check it out. I also added it to my sidebar under interesting blogs.

I just got High Speed!!

I just got high speed and it has changed my life. I was finally able to see my sister's Yahoo Veddy award winning "Free Hugs in Hollywood" video, the whole thing without download interruptions every two seconds. It was very impacting. Here it is if you'd like to check it out, too http://www.lisamurray.com/vidA3.htm She also has a live blog Mondays at 10 pm EST and Wednesdays at 3 pm EST http://www.blogtv.com/People/lisamurray Lisa's passion is inspiring others to follow their dreams and following her own dreams of creating documentaries and films.

I also was finally able to see some videos fellow needle felt artist, Kay Petal has created of her unique creations! You can check out some of her amazing work here http://www.flickr.com/photos/feltalive/

Yesterday, these beauties crossed the dirt road in front of me on my way home. I remember when a herd of at least a hundred crossed this same road in front of me. Yesterday, there were only 5. :( Oh and I do live where the deer and the antelope play.

I am so happy to be shipping out two Woolitures tomorrow morning! An adorable little sheltie and a gorgeous long-legged greyhound will be on their way . . . finally. I "dry felted" each one by needlefelting various wool colors and types. I love it. These sculptures are warm and soft.

The greyhound had some tricky coloring issues. I really hope her new owners will be happy with their new artwork. And the sheltie was tricky with his long, fluffy coat. I hope his new owner is happy with her new artwork, too.

Oh YAH! It's GREAT to be alive today!

It's the crack of dawn. I just got finished with my daily Bible study http://www.shepherdschapel.com/broadband.cfm I love studying every day, but today's just really touched me. There were daisies in the background, (my faves), Pastor Murray talked about rainbows and how they are God's promise to us, (two more faves), and how great it is to be with God, and finally in the question and answer section he talked about the Massorat which locks in God's Word so you can be sure what the original words, even letters!, were despite the fact that many people have translated. The book of Isaiah is very comforting in so many ways.

Today's message really touched me after hearing the news yesterday that a man strangled his daughter for family honor, another step-father killed his step-daughter when his attempts to have her join a child sex ring failed after she'd been used in child pornography, (unfortunately there are so many more children out there and broken adults who were once children in this hateful industry), rare monkeys are being bought up by Iran for reasons unknown, but ominous reasons come to mind, a veteran who was shot in Iraq and disabled had all his tools stolen from the house volunteers were building to be accessible for him, and a released Columbian hostage who took the time to remind everyone that RIGHT NOW there are hostages being abused in the jungle because he got his freedom.

For anyone who keeps their eyes and hearts open to this world, there is a lot to pray for. There is so much pain and so much confusion and so many are so lost. Sometimes, I feel like I could spend all day and night praying for my sisters and brothers out there. It's comforting to know that despite the choices people have made, God has a plan, He left His plan with us, it is in full force and it has a conclusion of peace and comfort eternally. Those who choose not to enjoy that, won't have to! So, everyone will get what they want. The cloud in this photo reminds me of God's Words that He longs to spread His wing over us and protect us.

20 Foot Flowers

I was stunned and amazed to see these tiny little foot high plants that shot up 20 foot stalks with many cups of flaming flowers on each one. I grew up in AZ and don't ever remember seeing these flaming orange and yellow flowers. The pictures just don't seem to capture the scope of these brazen plants' beautiful flower displays.
