A Woodman of the World's Tombstone

Far out on the eastern plains, in the middle of seemingly nowhere, this grave and tombstone are carefully kept. Cattle graze around this site, but a walkway is mowed to it and it has a protective barrier around it. I've heard there used to be a lot of pine trees out there. So, he must have been a good woodman indeed.

I wonder what these words mean. Well, I just googled and found this interesting link that explains cemeteries.wordpress.com/category/woodmen/

Colorado Sunset in the Rain and Rainbow

Colorado Stormy Sunset with Rainbow

What a crazy night we had weatherwise last night! Lightening started fires out on the plains on one side of us and incredible tornadoes touched down on the other side of us. We had beneficial rain, a lot of lightening and a gorgeous double rainbow. The news showed incredible images of an AWE inspiring HUGE tornado right behind a white house. It was clear if the tornado touched that house it would be shredded. Yet, a miracle happened and not a shingle was missing from that house. In fact, as far as I know, even though the tornado touched down in popular Parker, not one single person or property was injured or harmed. For me, it was a visual experience of how AWESOMELY POWERFUL God is. Because as terrifying as the tornado images are, God is MORE powerful than that!! Wow. Check out this amazing footage captured by Sky9 for the news. http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=98187&catid=339 There is an article to read, but check out the video on the right side. (Ignore the commercial at the beginning.) The people in that white house prayed and God heard them and saved them and their home, not once, but TWICE.

Chickens in the Dust Epic Feature

Okay. I'm honing my video skills with this enchanting movie clip of my chickens who look like they are dying, but in reality are just taking a chicken dust bath. LOL I couldn't get closer because they got up and left. Anyone have any tips on clipping off sides of each movie picture? I'd love to make this a closer up version. Can that only be done at the time of filming? I know this is terrible. I apologize for wasting 90 seconds of your life. :)

So, I'm taking pictures of the flocks of ravens or crows, I don't know what they are . . . big black birds congregating by the hundreds here, when I notice a coyote. I got a few pics of him from far away, so they are a bit blurry. I also caught a picture of our spring that is full after all our rain and has some pretty flowers. I did catch a video and hopefully, recorded the frog songs eminating from the spring that I can upload later. It's so weird how out here on the high desert plains of Colorado, frogs come out and are really loud after rains.
